Eli Francovich over at the Spokesman-Review compiled a great list of Earth Day events that benefit organizations in the Spokane and Coeur d’Alene area.
- The Lands Council will plant trees on Sunday at Deadman Creek in Mead.
- The Bower Climbing Coalition will host a crag cleanup at local rock climbing spots in the area.
- Washington Trails Association’s Eastern Washington will perform trail work at Iller Creek.
- Townshend Cellars will donate 10 percent of all sales from its Greenbluff tasting room to Spokane Riverkeeper.
- In Coeur d’Alene, the annual Tubbs Hill Spring Cleanup is Sunday. And, there will be a celebration and Earth Day fair at the Coeur d’Alene Library.
